Ferry & Wood

Ferry and Wood was created out of desire to explore and showcase our day to day work, questions, inspirations and anything that interested us in the creative industry. Having met at University in the mighty Leeds we both took different paths (Ferry, a suit / Wood, a creative), but ultimately our conversations and ideas kept crossing paths. So we thought why not create a blog that puts across both sides of the creative industry, the heads and tails (so to speak) of these projects and experiences. Heads and tails also pays relevance in deciding which name came first, needless to say Ferry won with heads!

I’m Paul, the Ferry to the Wood. I’ve been working as an account handler in creative agencies for just under three years (at time of starting this blog!) primarily in the digital and direct arena. I’m currently 3 months into my second agency as an account manager.

I’m James, the Wood to the Ferry. I’ve been working as a designer and art director in London for almost three years. Having spent time at several large international agencies I recently joined a small independent digital agency in Farringdon.
